We have FOUR fully finished houses ready for participants looking to live and train at our setting. Interested in learning the restaurant business? Become a prep chef or maybe a bartender? At the Mingus Job Accelerator, we strive to exceed your expectations by breaking barriers and changing the game. If you are an Adult age 21 and over with a developmental intellectual difference keeping you from gaining meaningful employment, we are here to provide on-the-job training and assist you in finding employment in your community. We offer training in several job settings including a restaurant, boutique, coffee bar and animal rescue care. Residential Training Sessions can be a one to four weeks in succession. We not only provide valuable training, we pay an hourly wage for up to four hours of training each day depending on your session and job set. If you are 18 to 20 years of age, come experience your first taste of being in the work place! Do a little bit of all the job skills we offer, summer 2023 only for ages 18 to 20 years. A $150.00 one time Annual Application Interview and Vocational Assessment Fee is charged for all participants.

The Residential Session will begin on Tuesday's, (First week is May, 2023) at 10am and end on Saturday's at 2pm each week with exclusions for Thanksgiving and December. Residents live in one of our tiny houses and must be capable of attending to their basic daily needs including the ability to awaken to an alarm and do their own laundry independently. The Residential Session is $700 per week. Residential participants will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the session. We have sliding-scale fee scholarships available. Participants are allowed to sign up for a minimum of one week to a maximum of four weeks in succession. A $150.00 one time Annual Application Interview and Vocational Assessment Fee is charged for all participants.
Support Staff is available for hire at $25 per hour for any duration between 9am and 9pm, upon request and availability. Minimum of 2 hours daily.

About Us
From a single Italian immigrant to a Mother with a dream, a family property, now owned by a non-profit is set to become the most unique on-the-job vocational training concept for adults with IDD (Intellectual developmental differences) in Texas.
The Mingus Job Accelerator (MJA) is a vocational training opportunity created by our non-profit organization, The Each & Everyone Foundation and funded by The Riley Charitable Trust. These two entities have joined forces to create an environment for vocational on-the-job training for adults with IDD (Intellectual Developmental Differences) and other learning or physical differences. These differences often make entering the job market more challenging. MJA is an environment where specialized training gives individuals practical work experience in the real world.
Within the 2.2 acre setting of tiny houses, vegetable gardens, a boutique, a farm-to-table restaurant and coffee bar, and a community-run animal shelter, MJA will teach a wide variety of job skills targeted towards the needs and abilities of its participants. AND, with pay for up to four hours daily!
